Introduction

We are a husband and wife team with a desire to approach divisive issues with critical thinking, love, and respect. In each episode we will present opposing views to controversial topics with equal respect and veracity.  Afterwards, we discuss the topic from our perspective. We believe differing opinions do not have to equal hate speech. With a different perspective, it can cultivate the opposite. Respect and love can be produced through disagreement.

Our goal is to create a platform or template for learning facts about difficult topics, challenging the listener to engage in thoughtfulness towards the other side. Difficult topics are often clouded in ad hominem attacks or strawman arguments and that is not helpful or productive in being part of the solution. Our hope is that through each episode you will learn and gain more respect for one another and understand that even if we don’t agree, we can still be friends.

You will be triggered. You might be offended. But, if you stick with us, you will grow in love and respect for one another. So, buckle up and join us as we travel together on this journey of discovery.
